Westmanstown Gaels Juvenile Section

Westmanstown Gaels was formed in 2004 when the Garda GAA Club recognised the need to promote Gaelic Games to the growing local community in Lucan and Dublin 15.

The club currently has in excess of seven hundred members with ongoing plans for growth. Our catchment area covers parts of North Lucan, Clonsilla, Allendale, Ongar, Barnwell and Hansfield.  Club members attend schools throughout the areas of Castleknock, Clonsilla, Ongar and Lucan with our Games Promotion Officer (GPO) working closely with schools in these areas.

We provide kids camps and advanced camps for our teenagers at Easter and Summer. Our camps have attracted some of the highest attendance figures in the Dublin area, made up of existing members but also many children experiencing Gaelic Games for the first time. For a relatively young club we continue to grow participation.

For the 2025 season we will field 22 teams across Football, Hurling and Camogie from the ages of Under 8 to Adult.
