Hurling & Camogie for Adult Teams at Garda Westmanstown Gaels GAA Club. 

In 2022, our Club Executive committee decided to add adult hurling and camogie to our team listings.

Making history 

This is an historic event in our Club’s evolution, but the introduction of adult hurling is not new to us. When we were formed, in 1922, we had a very strong hurling presence, and in those early years, achieved five consecutive senior club championship titles in Dublin. 

In 2022, Garda Westmanstown Gaels GAA proudly celebrated their 100 year anniversary.

The time is now 

With the facilities we have at present, and the addition of the ‘Ball Wall’, with our younger teams approaching adult level, the right time to create these Adult teams is now.

We are appealing to all Club members, families, friends, to our Garda colleagues stationed in Dublin and surrounding areas and to everyone in the Lucan, Clonsilla, Ongar and Clonee area to get involved in the drive to establish these new teams. 

It may be that you played the games previously and have not had the opportunity to return. We are now appealing to you to come on board with us, in what is a unique opportunity to be involved, from the beginning, with new teams, and help in the continued development of our Club for our young people.
