Boys U15 hosted Templeogue Synge Street in the Football league this morning. After Thursdays Hurling defeat we were also down more players due to injury. We were fairly even in the first half going in 0-4 to 1-3 behind at halftime. The opposition started to pull away in the second half and had a 5 point lead at the water break. We asked the lads to play with speed and to pressurise the opposition at all times and they did not disappoint. The lads fought for everything and came out victorious with a 3-11 to 1-9 win. They never gave up and proved they could turn the result around and the coaches are very proud of them all.
