Another great performance today from U13 girls against O’Tooles - two well matched teams, but the ability to take our goals and points reflected in the final score line 5:7 to 2:9 and a deserved win for Westmanstown.

Some fantastic defending protected our early lead, and at one stage there was only 3 points between the two sides.

Midfield ran their hearts out and continued to chase and help out defence.

The forward line were relentless in their continued efforts to score, which paid off in the end.

Today we had a fantastic turnout in terms of numbers and as the girls waited for their turn to come on and help their team, their cheers and shouts of encouragement was a joy to witness!
