That’s a wrap for 2023 in what has been another amazing year full of highlights on the field.

I would like to firstly give a huge thank you to our incredible team of volunteer coaches from our Fun for 4’s and our dedicated nursery coaches right through up to our adult sides. We are blessed to have you all helping to develop all our players not only to be better Gaa players across all codes but also better people off the pitch while gaining lots of new friendships along the way.

To our parents - thank you for all your support, encouragement and commitment along the way. It is much appreciated.

To our sponsors - well done and thank you all. Let’s all try our best to support these generous sponsors in 2024.

It’s been a highly frustrating few months weather wise and hopefully the New Year sees plenty more matches played in better conditions. Thanks so much to our facilities team who keep our playing pitches and grounds to the highest standards always.

To our players, everyone of them - enjoy the break and come back fresh and ready to be superb all over again.

To our outgoing and incoming executive committee who give selflessly of their time and energy; your dedication is the backbone of our association. Your countless hours of work ensure that our games, events and activities run smoothly, and for this, we are extremely thankful.

We are approaching our 20 year anniversary of Westmanstown Gaels plus just over 100 years of the Garda Gaa, so we have lots of exciting plans ahead for 2024 in what will hopefully be a memorable year for the club.
